BRINGING THE "RIGHTEOUS" TO POLISH SCHOOLS

„The Righteous in Polish schools”is a program for teachers and students of middle schools and high schools. It is addressed in particular to participants from small towns and villages.

We are helping schools reach people who rescued Jews from the Holocaust, who were honored for their heroic deeds with the title “Righteous Among the Nations”. We believe that their conduct is a perfect model for a civil education.

The goal of the program is to organize “The Day of the Righteous” in Polish schools. Such an event can take various forms: from a meeting with the Righteous, who often lives in the immediate vicinity of a given school, to organizing workshops devoted to the subject of saving Jews during the Second World War. We will provide teachers with appropriate teaching tools: a virtual exhibition and educational materials.
