HOSTILITY. INDIFFERENCE. RESCUE

Ilustracja

This is a workshop aimed at high-school students and students who wish to study the complicated Polish-Jewish relationship in Poland under Nazi occupation. Participants should not only have knowledge of the subject of the Second World War, but also know the basic facts connected with social relations at that time.

The workshop presents a wide range of attitudes towards the Holocaust, from open hostility to selfless readiness to give up one’s life for another person. It stimulates a profound reflection on the problems connected with rescue. Its main goal is to emphasise the ambiguity of numerous situations and the resultant inadequacy of moral categorisation. It also provides participants with the opportunity to discuss various forms of appreciation for the help and rescue provided.
