The new channel of the project „Jan Karski – Unfinished Mission” has been created on YouTube. At the moment users can watch there a short film – an account of the debate about Jan Karski, that took place on July 13th, 2010 on the 10th anniversary of his death. The discussion devoted to the place of the person and work of Jan Karski in the Polish collective memory was moderated by Jarosław Kurski. Among its participants were: prof. Aleksander B. Skotnicki, Bogdan Białek, Dr. Andrzej Żbikowski, Bożena Łobzowska and Krzysztof Kasprzyk. The channel also contains speeches delivered on this occasion by the honorary patrons of the project „Jan Karski – Unfinished Mission”: the Ambassador of France François Barry Delongchamps, the Ambassador of Israel Zvi Rav-Ner, Lisa Helling from the Embassy of the US in Poland and Dr. Andrzej Krzysztof Kunert, secretary of the Council for the Protection of the Memory of Combat and Martyrdom.

The inauguration of the project “Jan Karski – Unfinished Mission”, devoted to the memory of Jan Karski on the 10th anniversary of his death, took place on July 13th, 2010 in the Kultura Cinema in Warsaw. The events that are part of the celebrations, inaugurating a four-year program for the preservation of the memory of Jan Karski both in Poland and around the world, are organized by the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute in collaboration with the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The director of the project is Ewa Wierzyńska. The partners of the project are: the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, the Polish History Museum, the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw, the Museum of the Second World War, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, the Embassy of France in Poland, the Embassy of the United Stated in Poland, the Foundation Culture Ambassadors, the Jan Karski International Institute of Dialogue and Tolerance in Ruda Śląska and the Jan Karski Association in Kielce.
