Ilustracja

Polish Intercultural Youth Encounters program is a unique platform for dialogue between young Poles and Israelis. Participants become acquainted with Polish and Israeli culture and with each other, they work and play together, and thus build a platform for mutual understanding. These programs are addressed to senior high school and university students.

Our mission

The PIYE program serves the purpose of its participants becoming acquainted with one another, working and playing together, and thus building a mutual understanding between Poles and Israelis. It is a modern and unprecedented form of dialogue where two cultures, Polish and Israeli, have a chnace to meet.

Who is it for?

The program is addressed to people younger than 30. The Museum organizers one-day meetings between Polish and Israeli high school students and Polish-Israeli educational excursions. In the future we plan to expand the program by educational visits for Polish and Israeli doctoral students and by occupational internships.

How does it work?

PIYE participants attend prestigious universities while living with Polish or Israeli families. Thanks to integration programs, trips and cultural events, scholarship students participate in the culture of the visited country. During workshops, when sightseeing or playing, participants in One-Day Youth Encounters meet each other and become acquainted with Poland and Israel.
