All-Polish Youth
All-Polish Youth (Polish: Młodzież Wszechpolska) – a student organisation with a strong nationalist and anti-Semitic bias founded in 1918 and ideologically linked with the National Democracy; it had immense influences in the universities. It was re-established in secrecy in 1943; after 1945 there were many unsuccessful efforts to legalise it. Finally, the organisation was legally re-established on the convention of the nationalist and Catholic youth in Poznań in 1989.
The term was created within the framework of the project Zapisywanie świata żydowskiego w Polsce [recording the Jewish environment in Poland], whose author is Anka Grupińska, a well-known Polish journalist and writer, specializing in the modern history of the Polish Jews. The project, initiated in 2006 by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, consists in recording interviews with Polish Jews from all generations.
