Story of Rescue - Szaniawska-Nowicka Stanislawa

Stanisława Szaniawska-Nowicka lived in Warsaw. In 1943, she took in 10 year old Józef Lucjan Meszorer. Bronisława Bielatowicz led the boy, as well as two other children from that family, out of the Warsaw ghetto. It was she for found a hiding-place for him with Stanisława.

Józef Lucjan stayed with Stanisława until the end of the War and, in February 1945, his mother, Halina Meszorer, came to collect him.
